UK Establishes £2 Billion Energy Wealth Fund

On 28 October 2026, the UK government allocated £2 billion within the National Wealth Fund to establish the Energy Wealth Fund. It will support renewable and low-carbon energy infrastructure using future North Sea revenues. The initiative creates opportunities for clean-energy developers, engineering firms and renewable technology suppliers.
