India Approves ₹1,856.67 Crore Sports Goods Manufacturing Scheme

On 28 October, the Union Cabinet approved the Khelo India Sports Goods Manufacturing Scheme with an outlay of ₹1,856.67 crore through FY 2033–34, supporting research, innovation, skill development, technology adoption and Centres of Excellence in sports equipment and materials.
